Each year the United Methodist Church appoints pastors to their position for the coming year. Those appointments are made for the calendar year July 1 - June 30. After 10 years of service to Wilkesboro UMC, Pastor Karen Roberts is being appointed to a church in Pineville, NC. Needless to say, we will miss her as she has become a huge part of our church and community. We wish her all the best in her new assignment.
With Pastor Karen's departure, we are excited to welcome Pastor Brian Elwell to Wilkesboro UMC. Brian’s most recent appointment was a church in Stanley, NC.
